Note: Deposit is non-refundable for dropout players.

Date of Announcement: on or before Mar 25th, 2026

Game Format:
– 5 on 5 Play (5 players + 1 goalie)
– 3 mins of Warm-up
– 3 periods x 12 mins (30 secs intermission)
– Games are running time. There will be stop time if the score is within 2 goals or tied in the final 2 mins of the 3rd period.
– Round robin games -No overtime if games are tied after regulation.
– During playoffs, if the score is tied after regulation time, a 5 mins sudden death overtime will be played 4 on 4.
– If still tied after overtime, a 3-players shootout will take place. If still tied after the 3rd shooter, teams will alternate shots until a winner is decided.

**Due to too many applications for this tournament, our league’s players have the priority to be selected first.

Applicants must be Gold Club Elite Players or Players who play in our system.

Application Refunds

The application, league fee and/or training payments are final – no refunds will be issued.

Property Responsibility

The responsibility of the ice rink skating surface, the surrounding Plexiglas barrier, the rink support area, its interior and furnishings, the rink surfacing equipment and injury to other participants participating therein, will be that of each individual applicant. Likewise, the applicant is responsible for any damage that might be caused by the throwing or shooting of pucks or other objects over the rink barrier into the mall common area where possible harm or injury may be caused to any person, storefront, or property of Event Venue or its tenants.

Security of Property

The Event Venue or Gold Club Hockey will not be responsible for the loss or damage of the applicant’s property either before, during or after the event. It shall be the responsibility of each applicant to provide his own security.

Loss, Injury and Accidents

Neither the Event Venue or Gold Club Hockey, will be responsible for any injury, accident to person, or loss of property inside the Event Venue and their respective loading docks, or surrounding area. Use of the ice surface is entirely at the risk of the applicant. Accidents occurring on or off the ice will be the responsibility of the applicant and it is therefore suggested the applicant consider his own insurance coverage. This application constitutes a contract between the applicant and Gold Club Hockey, and a release liability to Gold Club Hockey, its executive committee, for any time before, during or after games or practices organized by Gold Club Hockey. Each applicant is bound by the terms hereof.

Conditions of Use of Jerseys and Socks

Unless otherwise stated, all team jerseys and socks used for the leagues and training are the property of Gold Club Hockey. Players must return their jerseys and socks once the competition is completed. Fines of minimum HK$1000 will be imposed for damaged, lost and non-returned jersey and socks. Gold Club Hockey reserves the absolute right to the use of the apparels.

Arrangement for Inclement Weather

The event will be cancelled if the Hong Kong Observatory reports black rainstorm warning signal, or 8 above tropical typhoon warning signal two hours before the event.

Appeals and Complaints

All appeals and complaints must be submitted in writing, typed or emailed to the organizer within 24 hours of notification of the ruling. Referee reports are kept confidential.

Declaration

I certify that I am entering this training and/or competition at my risk and responsibility. I for myself, my executors and administrators, do hereby waive and release any and all rights, claims and causes of action I have or may have against Gold Club Hockey and all sponsors, promoters, supporters and all other contributors from any and all liability arising from accident, illness, injury, death, loss and economic consequences I may suffer as a result of my entry in this event from any cause whatsoever, including negligence. I certify that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to complete for the competition of this event. By checking and submitting, I have read and understand the above Terms and Conditions.
